Hard Surface Repair Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Hard Surface Repair Technician to join our specialised team. Responsibilities

• Assessing damaged or worn hard surfaces to determine appropriate repair methods
• Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying primers as necessary
• Repairing cracks, chips, scratches, and other surface imperfections using specialised materials and techniques
• Colour-matching and blending repairs seamlessly with existing surfaces for a uniform finish
• Applying protective coatings or sealants to extend the lifespan of repaired surfaces
• Operating various tools and equipment safely and efficiently during repair processes
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in hard surface repair or related trades such as tiling, flooring, or restoration is desirable
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour matching and finishing quality
• Ability to read technical drawings or instructions accurately
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs
• A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between sites
• Relevant certifications or training in surface repair techniques will be advantageous
