Hardware And Networking Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Hardware & Network Engineer to manage, maintain, and support the organizations IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of computer hardware, network systems, and end-user support while minimizing system downtime and maintaining IT security standards.

The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting abilities, hands-on networking knowledge, and the capability to provide timely technical support in a fast-paced work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and servers
• Diagnose and repair hardware faults and replace defective components
• Set up and manage LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Configure and maintain Wi-Fi networks and VPN access
• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and network-related issues
• Implement and maintain network security (antivirus, firewall, access control)
• Perform regular system backups and ensure data recovery processes
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and hardware
• Document system configurations, issues, and resolutions
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and servicing

ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related technical discipline
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in hardware support and network administration
• Experience in handling enterprise IT infrastructure and end-user support preferred
