Hardware Design Engineer (Analog & Digital Electronics)

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exposure to both analog and digital electronics, with a strong interest in hardware design and development.

Preferred candidate profile

• Design and development of analog and digital electronic circuits for various applications including Railways and Defence.
• Participate in the complete hardware development lifecycle, including design, prototyping, testing, and debugging.
• Work on audio hardware design and systems integration.
• Develop schematics and layouts for PCB design using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.
• Contribute to RF design and testing (desirable).
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues in prototypes and production units.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Exposure to both analog and digital electronics.
• Knowledge of audio systems and related hardware.
• Experience in PCB design, including schematic capture and layout (preferably using tools like Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar).
• Basic understanding of RF systems and design principles (desirable).
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledege of Windows / Linux (desirable).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
