Job Description

Lead hardware design, debugging, and system-level failure analysis for complex electronic systems and high-performance computing platforms.

Analyze modern high-speed hardware architectures, including PCIe Gen4/5/6, DDR4/DDR5, HBM, 56G/112G/224G SerDes, and optical transceivers.

Troubleshoot power integrity issues, including power distribution network failures, multi-phase VRM transient droop, PMBus/SVID telemetry, and switching noise.

Investigate high-speed signal integrity anomalies and perform root-cause analysis of complex hardware failures.

Coordinate with external silicon suppliers and analytical laboratories to conduct component-level physical failure analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and enterprise customers to communicate technical findings, corrective actions, and recommendations.

Support ASIC circuit design, analog and mixed-signal IC analysis, embedded digital hardware design, and thermal analysis.

Evaluate hardware reliability, component performance, and silicon failure mechanisms to improve system quality and robustness.

Support hardware quality and reliability initiatives for high-performance and hyperscale computing environments.

Apply knowledge of advanced packaging technologies, including chiplets, 2.5D/3D ICs, and CoWoS, to investigate hardware and silicon failures.

Develop Python or C automation tools to reproduce intermittent hardware issues and complex race conditions.

Prepare detailed failure analysis reports and present findings to technical leadership, cross-functional teams, and customers.
