Hardware Electronics Architect-Female

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements analysis and manage system/hardware specifications.
• Define hardware product architecture considering performance, safety, and cost.
• Address cybersecurity and functional safety aspects in electronic designs.
• Perform in-depth hardware analysis for new concepts, platforms, and RFQs.
• Collaborate with purchasing and technical leaders on design-to-cost activities.
• Support supplier/customer technical meetings and occasional business trips.
• Drive innovation through technology surveys and architecture enhancements.
• Provide justifications for design choices and ensure compliance with standards.
• Contribute to architecture tools/templates (architecture diagrams, BOMs, power trees).
• Support demonstrator builds (A-samples) and foster synergy between architecture and design.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Master/Bachelors degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of experience in automotive electronic product design (power, digital, analog, RF, video, audio).
• Proven success in mass production launches and mechanical integration.
• Strong knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
• Ability to propose alternative designs and collaborate across electronics, mechanics, and software.
• Global understanding of system interplay: software, electronics, mechanics, industrialization.
• Proficiency in electronic design, mechanical integration, and design manufacturing.
• Curiosity and commitment to technology surveys and innovation.
• Strong communication, active listening, and collaborative mindset.
• Adherence to design-to-cost philosophy with risk/opportunity management.
