Hardware Engineer

Description of Jobs

• Ability to compare and review original part and replacement part datasheet/reference application note

• Ability to verify characteristics at the board level where the part is assembled

• Understanding of Firm ware control (init & operation) and ability to review required firm ware modification feasibility •Understanding of memory operation and access timing and ability to review required Firm Ware modification feasibility •Ability to use Mentor: Register and manage component Lib / Create circuit diagram / PCB design (signal integrity, noise /EMC countermeasures ) /PCB data generation, etc

• PCB design : Understanding of High-speed signal design, impedance matching, and primary/secondary signal separation •Basic knowledge of power circuit design and understanding of board- level power characteristics ( power sequence , power consumption , previous issues , etc. )

 - CPLD/FPGA design and coding skills : VHDL language

 - Ability to use FPGA development SW Tools provided by vendors (Lattice / XILINX)

• Understanding of dedicated E1/T1/PRI/SS7 Transceiver ICs

• Ability to understand E1/T1/PRI/SS7 Protocol and create HW/SW interface specifications to implement functions with changed ICs

• Understanding E1/T1/PRI/SS7 communication specifications of each country and support for obtaining Layer I approval •Understanding of dedicated ICs such as SLIC, SLAC, COIC, etc. and ability to design analog interface circuits ( including understanding and implementation of safety standards )

 - Ability to understand the communication specifications of each country and implement solutions that meet those specifications ( using simulation SW tools provided by IC vendors ): Support for obtaining approval of each country •Understanding the functions, interfaces, and DSP performance of the currently used MACOM SoC (CPU+DSP)

Qualifications / Technical Skills

• วุฒิการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีขึ้นไป สาขา Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering หรือสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้อง

• มีความรู้ด้าน Communication Protocol เช่น TCP/IP และ Ethernet

• มีความรู้และประสบการณ์ใช้งาน Linux Operating System

• มีความรู้ด้าน VoIP Technology

• มีความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับ Network Protocol, RTP และ IPKTS Signaling

• มีประสบการณ์ด้าน Hardware Design, Hardware Development, Testing และ Debugging  3 ปีขึ้นไป

• หากมีประสบการณ์ด้าน Telecommunication / Network / VoIP จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษค่ะ
