Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Hardware Engineer to manage computer hardware, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide reliable IT support for our systems and users.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Installation & Maintenance
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Diagnose and repair hardware faults and replace defective components.
• Troubleshooting & Technical Support
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system performance issues.
• Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and common applications.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity problems.
• Operating System & Software Installation
• Install and configure Windows OS, drivers, and essential software.
• Perform system formatting, OS reinstallation, and data backup when required.
• Networking & IT Infrastructure
• Handle basic LAN setup, IP configuration, routers, switches, and network troubleshooting.
• Assist with printer and shared-resource connectivity.
• Preventive Maintenance & Documentation
• Conduct regular system health checks and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain hardware inventory, service records, and issue-resolution reports.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Windows OS installation and configuration.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, TCP/IP, IP configuration).
• Familiarity with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Problem-solving ability and good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and support users efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Hardware, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications or practical hardware-support experience will be an advantage.
