Hardware Engineer

Join us to drive the development of validation platforms for automotive Ethernet products. This is an entry-level, hardware engineering-oriented system engineer position. The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for system hardware design, including PCB design, system bring-up, debug, and validation. The IC products supported include Automotive Ethernet PHY, bridge, and switch products.

Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

• Design and develop system hardware for Automotive Ethernet PHY, bridge and switch products, including PCB design and board-level implementation.
• Bring up hardware platforms and perform power-on testing, system integration, debug, and validation.
• Use laboratory test and measurement equipment to characterize, troubleshoot, and validate hardware performance.
• Apply knowledge of electronic circuits and logic to analyze system behavior and resolve hardware issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams in a multi-tasking, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.
• Document design decisions, test results, debug findings, and validation outcomes.

Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Good knowledge of basic electronic circuits and digital logic.
• Willingness to quickly absorb different kinds of knowledge and apply it effectively at work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working experience in board-level hardware design and logic/FPGA design is preferred. Working experience with test and measurement is highly appreciated; a background in signal integrity is a plus.
