Hardware Engineer Intern | Full-time, 3 months
Verité Research is looking for a Hardware Engineer Intern to support our IT team in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals. This is a hands-on, three-month full-time role — you'll build practical experience diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on equipment the whole organisation depends on.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair laptops and related hardware
- Troubleshoot faults across motherboards, memory, storage devices, power supplies, keyboards, displays, and peripherals
- Install, upgrade, and replace SSDs, RAM, batteries, and other components
- Carry out preventative maintenance on IT equipment
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Hardware Engineering, or a related field
- A genuine interest in hardware diagnostics and repair
- Careful, methodical approach to troubleshooting
