Hardware Engineer | Remote

Position: Hardware Expert (MSc. or PhD)

Type: Contract

Compensation: $60 - $120/hour

Location: Global, fully remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Create hardware engineering problems based on realistic industry or research scenarios
• Develop clear reference solutions using various engineering methods
• Validate results using tools like Python, MATLAB, and C/C++
• Evaluate complex engineering challenges requiring sound judgment
• Optimize engineering processes while ensuring reproducibility
• Collaborate with project teams to meet specifications and deadlines
• Document findings and results for independent verification

Requirements

• MSc. or PhD in relevant engineering or physics field
• Significant experience in hardware engineering and product development
• Proven ability to solve substantial engineering problems
• Familiarity with test automation platforms and engineering software
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Experience working with Coding Agents in engineering tasks
• Ability to create and validate engineering solutions independently
