Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by understanding their needs and offering tailored product recommendations.
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain features clearly to help customers make informed decisions.
• Manage retail sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling.
• Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized product layouts to enhance store presentation.
• Perform upselling techniques to promote additional products and accessories that complement customer purchases.
• Handle retail store product knowledge confidently, including electronics, gadgets, and grocery store items when applicable.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment by adhering to phone etiquette standards and ensuring all areas are well-organized.

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly and confidently.
• Previous retail sales experience, especially in electronics or grocery stores, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities to assist in team coordination when needed.
• Proficiency in POS systems, cash register operations, cash drawer handling, and retail math for accurate transactions.
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and stock management practices to optimize product displays.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
