HIRING: HARDWARE/SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Project: FEAREX Network Security Appliance​

Required Qualifications:

• ​Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.​
• At least two years of relevant experience in **hardware integration, embedded systems, or software development.​Experience integrating and troubleshooting mini PCs, single-board computers, network interfaces, power supplies, and storage devices.**​
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Bash for development, automation, and troubleshooting.​Working knowledge of Linux, preferably Ubuntu or Debian, including installation, configuration, services, and system logs.​Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and firewall concepts.​
• Ability to read schematics and technical datasheets and use basic electronic test equipment.​Experience using Git and preparing technical documentation and test reports.​Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications​

• Experience with KiCad, Altium, or equivalent PCB design software.​Familiarity with Suricata, nftables, or other network security tools.​Experience with REST APIs, Node-RED, or Vue.js for device management interfaces.​
• Knowledge of secure boot, TPM, watchdogs, firmware updates, and recovery procedures.​
• Experience in product prototyping, reliability testing, and coordination with OEM/ODM suppliers.​
• Relevant engineering licensure or networking, Linux, or cybersecurity certification is an advantage.​

Key Responsibilities

• ​Integrate FEAREX hardware, operating system, and software components.​
• Develop device configuration, monitoring, and management functions.​
• Conduct functional, network performance, thermal, and reliability testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and document corrective actions.
• Prepare specifications, bills of materials, test procedures, and technical manuals.
• Support prototype development and the transition to production.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
