Hardware Specialists

Key Responsibilities

• PC and Laptop Repair: Perform hardware diagnostics and component repairs (RAM, SSD, battery, screen, motherboard replacements) on Windows PCs, MacBooks, and Linux devices.
• Printers and Scanners: Troubleshoot, clean, and resolve paper jams, driver conflicts, and hardware faults on office printers and document scanners.
• Device Setup and Imaging: Assemble, image, configure and assign hardware setups and peripherals for new hires and current staff.
• Parts and Asset Management: Maintain the hardware workshop, track spare parts, log asset inventory and coordinate warranty service with suppliers.
• Preventive and Off-Hours Maintenance: Conduct regular physical cleaning, cable organization and execute scheduled hardware upgrades or emergency repairs during weekdays, weekends and holidays to prevent operational downtime.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2+ years in computer hardware repair, technician work or onsite desktop support.

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on disassembly and repair experience with desktops, laptops, enterprise printers, and scanners.
• Proficiency with hardware drivers, disk cloning, and core OS settings across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Work Style and Availability:

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and equipped with strong face-to-face troubleshooting skills for onsite staff support.
• Fully flexible schedule: willing and available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays for emergency hardware repairs, rollouts or maintenance windows.
