Hardware System Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hardware System Architect to lead the architecture, design, and validation of complex electronic hardware systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating product requirements into robust hardware architectures, driving board-level design decisions, and providing technical leadership across electrical, PCB, mechanical, thermal, and verification domains. This role requires deep expertise in high-current analog designs, power delivery systems, precision measurement circuits, multi-layer PCB development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver production-ready hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define hardware system architecture, subsystem partitioning, and design strategy.
• Design and review power electronics, high-current analog, measurement, and control circuits.
• Lead PCB architecture and layout reviews, including SI/PI, EMI/EMC, DFM, and DFA considerations.
• Drive thermal design, cooling strategies, and reliability improvements for power-dense systems.
• Support hardware validation, debugging, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams.

Preferred Experience

• 10+ years in electronic hardware product development.
• Experience with AC-DC/DC-DC converters, SMPS architectures, and high-power designs.
• Familiarity with Load Boards, Interposers, ICC/DCC Boards, or semiconductor test hardware is a plus.
• Experience leading technical reviews and cross-functional engineering teams.
