Hardware test engineer - ALTEN Luxembourg

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Hardware Test Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Luxembourg.

As a Hardware Test Engineer , you will play a key role in the validation and continuous improvement of innovative, high-performance products. You will be responsible for conducting electrical and functional testing, analysing test results, and supporting troubleshooting activities. Starting with hands-on bench testing, you will rapidly expand your scope to include advanced root-cause analysis and complex problem-solving, contributing directly to product reliability and performance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop product functional test plan (compliance testing)

• Develop hardware test setup and test bench improvements

• Perform manual functional testing of product on hardware bench and contribute to automation of hardware tests

• Define and validate new test software functions

• Provide technical support to hardware environmental and electromagnetic compatibility validation

• Provide technical support to manufacturing plant to set up production changes

Your profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field

• You have a DGUV 200-006 Level 2 & 3 High-Voltage qualification (or equivalent)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive electronics or e-mobility hardware

• You have a solid foundation in embedded hardware systems and analog electronics

• You have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical topics clearly

• Fluent in English; German and French are considered an advantage
