Neli Micro-Turbines is an innovative deep-tech startup developing next-generation micro-turbine generators and jet engines for advanced propulsion, power generation, and UAV applications.

Operating in a cutting-edge R&D environment near the Technion in Haifa, we're expanding our engineering team and looking for an experienced, hands-on Electronics Practical Engineer who loves technology, solving challenges, and working with real hardware.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced turbine-based power systems, including the integration of compact generators into drones to significantly extend their flight endurance.

⚡ What You'll Do

• Electronics Integration: Integrate and test electronic control units (ECU), sensors, embedded boards, and power electronics.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in analog and digital electronic boards at component and system levels. Perform component-level repairs, soldering and hardware modifications on electronic boards,
• UAV Integration: Support the integration of turbine-based generators into drone platforms, including electrical interfaces, power distribution, and communication with flight controllers.
• Testing & Instrumentation: Build and operate laboratory test setups, DAQ systems, and electronic measurement equipment.

🎯 Requirements

• Certified Electronics Practical Engineer (Diploma) – Mandatory.
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience in electronics integration, testing, or development.
• Strong practical experience debugging analog and digital electronic boards.
• Experience integrating electronics into complex electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and work confidently with laboratory measurement equipment.
• Experience with wiring, cable harnesses, and electronic assemblies.
• Independent, practical problem solver with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
• Good technical English.

Significant Advantages:

• Experience with UAVs, drones, flight controllers, or airborne electronics.
• Experience with power electronics, generators, ESCs, or motor controllers.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, CAN Bus, DAQ systems, or PCB design tools.
• Experience supporting products from R&D to production.
