Hardware validation engineer (MJ000125)

• Review the production testing coverage, pass/fail criteria and throughput from JDM partner.
• Audit the production line at JDM, identify performance gaps and guide JDM to address the gaps
• Troubleshoot JDM report issues, identify root causes through collaboration with internal engineering teams (DSP, hardware, firmware, software)
• Establish engineering test bench in our lab and develop automated test script for troubleshooting
• Enable JDM to utilize Credo developed testers in the production line Collaborate with internal teams to ramp the product from NPI to volume production
• Travel to the JDM factories for onsite development and/or troubleshooting Qualifications:
• B.S. in electrical engineering, communication, optics or physics, plus 7 years of relevant work experience
• Familiar with the industry standard (IEEE, QSFPDD, OSFP, CMIS) governing the optical modules
• Hands on optical test equipment such as Keysight DCA, BERT Experienced on production testing of optical transceivers and the pass/fail criteria
• Familiar with optical production troubleshooting; distinguish the failures among optical, firmware, software, hardware, and equipment. Test automation using scripting languages such as Python
• Strong communication skills and fluent in writing/reading English
