Hartlepool - Support Worker

Great news! We’re looking for flexible, creative and passionate people to join our Support Worker team for both Adults and Children in Hartlepool.

At Positive Support For You, we provide personalised support to children, young people and adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex support needs. No two people are the same, which means no two days are the same either.

As a Support Worker, you will build positive and trusting relationships with the people you support, helping them to live fulfilling lives, develop their independence and achieve the things that are important to them.

Your role could involve supporting people with everyday activities, accessing their local community, developing life skills, enjoying hobbies and interests, attending appointments or activities, and providing support with individual health, communication, behavioural or complex needs.

We are looking for people who can bring their own personality, interests and natural communication skills to the role. Whether that's sharing a love of films, music, gaming, crafts, sport, getting outdoors or simply having a great sense of humour, finding the right match between our staff and the people we support is really important to us.

About the role:

• Full-time and part-time contracts available, typically between 16–32 hours per week
• £15.21 per hour
• A range of shifts including daytime, evenings, weekends and waking nights
• Some roles may include sleep-in duties
• Experience in care or support is desirable but not essential
• Comprehensive induction, training and ongoing development provided
