Shifts:

Morning: 6:00am – 3:00pm, Monday – Friday.

Evening Shift: 10pm to 6:00 am

Some weekend work required. Must be willing to work all holidays. It is a short staff hour on holidays. 40 hours per week. Other shifts available, including nights and weekends. Inquire within.

Job Description:

The Hatchery Direct Laborer will assist with day-to-day hatchery functions, ensuring quality performance and superior quality birds to deliver to our growers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assisting with Hatchery Operations

· Maintaining a SAFE working environment

· Move eggs and chicks to and from trucks and throughout the facility.

· Inventory Control

· Maintaining a clean working area

· Performing minor maintenance on manufacturing equipment

· Teamwork Required

· Maintaining a neat and organized warehouse

· Cleaning other areas of the Hatchery when time provided

Qualifications:

· Ability to work well with others

· Ability to work flexible hours to effectively perform all duties and responsibilities

· Attention to detail

· Pushing/pulling heavy egg and chick carts.

· Ability to safely lift up to 40lbs.

· Agriculture knowledge a plus.

· Reliable Attendance (including transportation).

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working in Hatchery setting preferred but not required.
