Hatchery Supervisor

The Chicken Hatchery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily hatchery operations to ensure the healthy incubation and hatching of chicks. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining equipment, monitoring environmental conditions, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate hatchery staff and daily activities
• Monitor incubation processes, including temperature, humidity, and egg handling
• Ensure proper care and handling of eggs and newly hatched chicks
• Maintain hatchery equipment and report or address any malfunctions
• Implement and enforce biosecurity, hygiene, and safety protocols
• Keep accurate records of hatch rates, mortality, and production data
• Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance to staff
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
