About the Role

The Haz Waste Processing Technician is responsible for the safe handling, receiving, consolidating, and processing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials within the processing facility. • Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Maintain facility cleanliness through general housekeeping and equipment upkeep.
  • Support additional facility tasks and activities as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Forklift/Telehandler experience is an asset (training will be provided).
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, perform repetitive physical tasks, and stand on concrete for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in completing paperwork.
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
