HC Float Driver

Spring Farm, NSW | Full-Time

This role offers you the best of both worlds — solid, local Sydney work most of the time, with the odd interstate run thrown in to keep things interesting.

Join JMT Civil, where you'll be operating well-maintained drop deck and quad axle float combinations, moving heavy machinery and equipment across Greater Sydney and beyond. No two weeks look exactly the same.

Why this role stands out:

• Home most nights — local Sydney runs form the backbone of the role
• Change of scenery when it suits — occasional interstate trips break up the routine
• Real variety in the freight — heavy machinery and equipment, not the same boring load every day
• Modern, well-maintained fleet — gear that's looked after properly
• A supportive team based out of our Spring Farm yard

What you'll be doing:

• Operating drop deck and quad axle floats on predominantly local Sydney work
• Stepping up for the occasional interstate run when the job calls for it
• Loading, unloading and securing heavy machinery and equipment to a high standard
• Taking pride in a clean, safe, well-executed job every time

What you'll bring:

• Current HC licence
• Proven experience with drop deck / quad axle float operations
• Solid knowledge of load restraint and heavy haulage regulations
• A willingness to hit the road interstate on occasion
• A safety-first mindset and genuine attention to detail

What's in it for you:

• Full-time, permanent position — real job security
• Local-first roster with the bonus of interstate variety
• Well-maintained, modern equipment you can be proud to drive
• A team environment where your experience is valued
