HC Truck Driver

About the role

All Pavement Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Londonderry NSW 2753, this role is pivotal to our operations within the construction and plant machinery sector. As an HC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment to support our pavement projects across the region. This position plays a critical role in maintaining our project timelines and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Operating heavy commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all relevant road and workplace safety regulations

• Transporting construction materials, plant machinery and equipment to designated project sites

• Conducting pre start's inspections and reporting any mechanical faults or maintenance requirements

• Adhering to load management requirements and ensuring cargo is secured appropriately

• Communicating effectively with site supervisors, project managers and dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries

• Assisting with loading and unloading of materials and equipment as required

• Maintaining professional conduct and contributing to a positive, safety-focused workplace culture

• Following all company policies, procedures and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Valid Heavy Commercial (HC) or higher class driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience operating heavy commercial vehicles in construction or related industries
• Comprehensive knowledge of road safety regulations, load management and vehicle maintenance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with site teams
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly with documentation and logbook maintenance
• Physical fitness and capability to assist with loading and unloading activities
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work
• A proactive commitment to workplace health and safety
• Preference for candidates with experience in pavement, construction or civil works transportation
