HCV Case Manager

Under the general supervision of the Director of HCV programs, performs responsible technical and professional work in Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) Case Management. Work involves moderately difficult administrative duties and requires the use of independent judgement and initiative ensuring that HUD and HCV policies and regulations are met.

Must possess a valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license. Must be bondable.

Must pass HCV certification exam within 1-2 years of appointment.

Process interim and annual recertifications and initial move-ins for HCV participants.

Prepare HUD forms, report and tenant notices.

Maintain client files and computes rent calculations.

Coordinate and execute HAP contracts between landlords and the Authority.

Conducts HQS inspections when needed.

Enforces CRHA's policies and HUD rules and regulations.

Operate a variety of automated office machines including computers, copiers, printers, fax machine and telephone.
