We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HDI (Heavy-Duty Industrial) Technician to join our team and drive excellence in maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment. Duties

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
• Operate heavy machinery safely during troubleshooting, repairs, and testing phases
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other industrial tools to complete repairs efficiently
• Follow safety protocols meticulously during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance logs for compliance and tracking purposes
• Assist with assembly and disassembly of industrial equipment as needed to facilitate repairs or upgrades

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with dealership or industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, Caterpillar machinery, or similar heavy-duty machines
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems
• Ability to operate forklifts, heavy machinery, and power tools safely and effectively
• Experience with welding techniques and metal fabrication is highly desirable
• Knowledge of HVAC systems related to industrial environments is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
• Prior experience working with farm machinery or industrial equipment is advantageous
