Head Accountant (CPA/Non-CPA)

• Oversee the overall financial and accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Supervise the preparation and analysis of financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning to support company objectives.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, statutory reports, and compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies as necessary.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team, fostering continuous development and accountability.
• Monitor and control company expenses and recommend cost-saving strategies.
• Support management in strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (CPA license is preferred but non-CPA candidates can also apply
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, and other relevant financial laws.
• Proficient in any accounting systems and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department coordination and external liaison.
• Preferably someone who can do onsite work in Ortigas, Pasig.
