HEAD ARCHITECT

About the role

This role involves preparing architectural plans, drawings, layouts, and design documents, and reviewing architectural drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness. You will coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other construction personnel, and prepare documents needed for project proposals, bidding, and construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural plans, drawings, layouts, and design documents.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.

• Assist in the preparation and processing of building permits and other government requirements.
• Conduct site visits and inspections when necessary.
• Monitor project progress and ensure that architectural works follow approved plans and specifications.
• Prepare revisions and modifications to architectural plans when required.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors regarding architectural concerns.
• Assist in material selection and ensure that materials meet project specifications.
• Maintain organized records of architectural drawings, plans, and project documents.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to the project and construction teams.
• Assist in preparing project reports and updates for management.
• Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned by management.
