About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can lead from the front, manage bakery operations effectively, motivate a team, and maintain consistently high product standards.

• Lead the bakery team and oversee daily bakehouse operations
• Manage costs, wages, stock, and ordering to protect profitability
• Improve systems, reduce waste, and drive operational efficiency
• Build a positive team culture and support business growth with the owner
• Combine hands-on leadership with strong commercial and operational oversight

About You

Along with a strong work ethic, you will ideally bring:

• Proven experience leading a bakery, bakehouse, or similar food production operation
• Full Australian working rights - sponsorship is not available for this role
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team performance
• Solid commercial understanding of costs, margins, and profitability
• Experience managing stock, ordering, labour, waste, and daily operations
• A practical, quality-focused problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
