You'll work directly alongside our Co-Founder, Nicoletta, co-managing Simplicity's bread and viennoiserie production.

You'll take responsibility for the production process, from planning and fermentation through to shaping, baking and quality control. But most importantly, we want your ideas. You'll have the freedom to develop and refine recipes, experiment with new products and techniques, improve our existing range and help shape what Simplicity's bakery offering becomes in the future.

Your baking expertise, creativity, production planning, time management, consistency and ability to minimise waste will directly influence the continued success of the bakery.

Salary, depending on experience - negotiable for the right candidate. For us, this is about finding the right person and the right fit, not simply someone who meets the minimum requirements on paper.

THE DETAILS

Role: Head Baker - Full Time

Location: Simplicity Bakery Cafe & Events Venue, 1 Tunnel Road, London SE16 4JJ

Salary:depending on experience - negotiable Hours: 45 hours per week over 5 days Typical start: Approximately 5:00am Holiday: 28 days including bank/public holidays

Experience: Minimum 3 years' professional sourdough and viennoiserie experience

Food Hygiene: Level 2 required or funded by Simplicity during probation

Start: Immediate start preferred

Right to work: Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
