Head Baker/Senior Baker

Job Responsibilities:

• Leading and training staff members.
• Designing and improving recipes.
• Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
• Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
• Ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
• Keeping records relating to inventory and production levels.
• Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.

Job Requirements:

• Proven notable work experience in baking and pastry background.
• Ability to create new recipe based on trend and to own uniqueness.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills.
• Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
• Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field is a plus.
• Culinary school degree/diploma is a plus.
