Head Bar

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Manage, train, and develop the bar team to maintain high service and performance standards.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, recipes, presentation, and portion control.
• Monitor bar stock, inventory levels, and usage to minimize wastage and maintain beverage cost.
• Conduct regular stock checks and coordinate with Purchasing for replenishment.
• Ensure proper implementation of bar SOPs, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and storage.
• Monitor beverage preparation and service, especially during peak hours.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Assist in developing and improving beverage menus, recipes, and promotions.
• Prepare and monitor daily operational reports related to bar performance, stock, and wastage.
• Ensure all bar equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to the relevant department.
• Work closely with the Operations and Kitchen teams to ensure smooth overall outlet operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar position within a restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality environment.

• Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations.

• Proven leadership and team management skills.

• Good understanding of beverage cost control, inventory, and stock management.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Hands-on, proactive, and able to lead by example.

• Good attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays.
