ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of our front-of-house team, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day guest experience at Farm Girl. Your responsibilities will include:

• Guest Experience: Deliver a warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to every guest, ensuring they feel welcome from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
• Coffee Quality: Ensure drink presentation is exceptional with exciting and dynamic latte art.
• Menu Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our menu, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with front-of-house and kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth, seamless service and a positive team atmosphere.
• Cleanliness Standards: Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene across the coffee machine, dishwasher, and service areas at all times.
• Health & Safety: Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols and allergen procedures, escalating any concerns promptly.
• Equipment & Station Upkeep: Keep your section and service stations well-stocked and organised, reporting any equipment issues or breakages promptly.
• Operational Awareness: Be attentive to the flow of service and proactively support the wider team during peak periods to ensure an efficient, enjoyable experience for all guests.
• Training - Be up to date with necessary training and provide training to new baristas.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A proactive 'Can-do' Attitude.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar barista role.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A genuine passion for coffee.
• Experience working in a high-volume environment.
• Great spoken and written English communication skills.
• Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements (preferred).

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
