Head Bartender (APT101)

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Prepare and serve beverages to guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction.
2. Mix and prepare cocktails and other beverages according to the venue’s standards of performance and beverage manual.
3. Ensure the bar area is properly set up, including all necessary mise en place, ingredients, and equipment before opening.
4. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the bar area.
5. Supervise and oversee the performance of bartenders, including coordinating work schedules and monitoring team performance.
6. Manage the ordering and preparation of bar supplies, including fruits, alcoholic beverages, and other necessary ingredients.
7. Conduct weekly stock counts, prepare stock reports, and submit them to the Restaurant Manager.
8. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues when possible, or refer them to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.
9. Report any supplier-related issues, changes to beverage recipes or preparation methods, and event-related matters to the Group Mixologist.
10. Oversee daily bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
11. Perform all bartending duties and responsibilities as required to maintain service standards.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2-3 years of bartending experience.
2. Extensive knowledge of beverage and cocktail recipes.
3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
4. Good organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
5. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
6. Ability to supervise, lead, and manage a team of bartenders.
7. Knowledge of stock control, inventory reporting, and ordering bar supplies.
8. Ability to perform all bartending duties in accordance with the venue’s standards and procedures.
9. Previous management experience or relevant bar management training is an advantage.
