Head Bartender

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Bartender to lead our bar team and elevate the guest experience through exceptional beverage service and innovative mixology. This energetic role requires a passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, possesses strong leadership skills, and has a comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wine, craft beers, and cocktail and mochtail crafting. As the Head Bartender, you will oversee daily bar operations, ensure top-tier customer service, and maintain high standards of beverage quality and safety. Your expertise will inspire your team to deliver memorable moments for every guest while driving sales and operational excellence.

Duties

• Lead and manage the bar team to deliver outstanding service, ensuring all guests receive personalized attention and expert recommendations.
• Develop and refine beverage menus, including signature cocktails, wine pairings, aligned with current trends and guest preferences.
• Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast, handling cash handling procedures with integrity.
• Train staff on proper beverage preparation techniques, cocktail recipes, food handling protocols, and POS system usage to ensure consistency and quality.
• Monitor sales performance, implement upselling strategies, and analyze sales data to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere by providing exceptional customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly, and creating a lively yet professional environment.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service practices at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff on food pairing options for beverages.
• Support General Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Bartender or Bar Supervisor within a high-volume restaurant or fine dining setting.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, mixology techniques, and beverage recipe development.
• Proficiency in POS systems such as Toast strong basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation with exceptional communication skills.
• Experience in food safety practices and adherence to health regulations.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in hospitality industry roles including food service, catering, or banquet management is highly desirable.
• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI in the past five years.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
