Introduction 

• Casual is a creative space in Hong Kong, dedicated to all kinds of art: Music, Exhibition, Wellness, Fashion. Dance.

• The mission is to bring a new narrative to Hong Kong with one of the best experiences and sound across multiple spaces of music, built for dancers and art lovers.

• Noted for its impressive sound system featuring what may be the largest speakers in the city, built directly into an acoustically ideal listening room. Everything was custom designed and built in-house from the ground up to deliver massive, audiophile-quality sound, even when there’s a crowd. Opening in September 2026, Casual operates as a cafe/recordstore in the day and organic wine bar/multi-purpose creative space in the evening. Across music, art, & wellness --  you’ll find a love for self-expression, a home for co-creation and a place to enjoy the interconnection between bodies, ideas and art.

About the Role: We are looking for a passionate Head Bartender to lead our bar operations. The ideal candidate will combine sommelier knowledge and mixologist skills with a strong service mentality, ensuring our guests receive outstanding beverages, great recommendations, and a memorable experience that reflects our brand values.

Key Responsibilities

Bar Operations & Inventory Management

• Inventory Control: Actively monitor and manage beverage stock levels, conduct regular stock counts, and promptly replenish supplies to prevent shortages.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene of the bar counter, workstations, and all equipment, ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to all local liquor licensing laws, regulations, and company operating policies.
• Transaction Management: Accurately process payments while strictly adhering to company procedures.
• Equipment Care: Properly handle, clean, and maintain all bar equipment and tools.
• Event Support: Assist with and support brand activations, pop-ups, and special community events.

Beverage Quality & Expertise

• Craft Exceptional Drinks: Ensure consistent, high-quality beverage preparation, providing an excellent level of service across cocktails, wine, coffee, and tea.
• Menu Mastery: Maintain detailed knowledge of our drinks menu and product concept to confidently provide expert recommendations to guests.
• Brand Ambassadorship: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our brand and products, passionately sharing our values with customers while serving them quickly and efficiently.

Customer Experience & Teamwork

• Engaging Service: Provide friendly, top-tier service, responding to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and highly efficient manner.
• Community Building: Actively build genuine, lasting relationships with our customers and the local community.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively and communicate clearly with the broader service team to ensure a seamless and outstanding customer experience from start to finish.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Strong, demonstrated knowledge of wine, cocktail creation and general beverage service.
• Customer Focus: Customer-oriented with a genuine, polite demeanor, outstanding communication skills, and a strong service-first mentality.
• Efficiency: Excellent time management skills, strict punctuality, and the ability to efficiently manage high-volume workflows during busy shifts.
• Availability: Must be flexible and able to adapt to a rotating shift schedule.
• Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a strong plus.
• Creativity: Be proactive in pushing for innovative concepts regarding menu creation and beverage creation
