The Gennari Group is seeking an exceptional Bar Manager to lead our beverage operations across one of our premium venues. We are looking for a charismatic hospitality leader who lives and breathes cocktails, spirits, wine, service excellence and team development.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Bar Manager or Venue Manager looking to take the next step with one of the Gold Coast's most respected hospitality groups.

About the Role

As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing all aspects of bar operations, including:

• Leading, mentoring and inspiring a team of bartenders and supervisors
• Developing staff knowledge and service standards
• Managing rosters and labour costs
• Cocktail creation and seasonal beverage menu development
• Wine, beer and spirit program management
• Stock control, ordering and inventory management
• Driving beverage sales and profitability
• Training staff in product knowledge and upselling techniques
• Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing and RSA requirements
• Maintaining exceptional presentation and operational standards

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior bar management role
• Extensive cocktail and spirit knowledge
• Strong wine knowledge and appreciation
• Leadership experience managing medium to large hospitality teams
• Proven roster, labour and cost control experience
• Ability to create innovative beverage menus
• Strong understanding of stock management and reporting
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• A hands-on leadership style and positive attitude
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
