Responsibilities

• Lead the entire brewing process from ingredient selection through fermentation, packaging, and quality assurance to deliver exceptional craft beers.
• Maintain rigorous sanitation protocols across all production areas, ensuring compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing preventative measures to optimize brewing efficiency.
• Manage warehouse operations related to raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished product storage, including forklift operation and manual handling procedures.
• Enforce safety standards in production environments by conducting regular safety audits, training staff on industrial chemical handling, heavy lifting techniques, and food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to monitor product consistency, conduct sensory evaluations, and implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Supervise a team of brewing technicians and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, craftsmanship, and continuous learning.

Experience

• Proven experience in craft beer brewing or food/beverage manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of brewing processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sanitation practices, HACCP principles, CGMP regulations, and food safety standards within a manufacturing setting.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining or troubleshooting brewing equipment and industrial machinery.
• Hands-on experience with packaging operations and warehouse management including forklift certification and manual handling skills.
• Background in quality assurance within the food or beverage industry with an emphasis on consistent product quality.
• Familiarity with industrial chemical handling procedures and safety standards related to manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership abilities complemented by excellent communication skills to motivate teams and uphold safety protocols.
