Head Business Development - Facilities Management

About the Role

A commercially minded leader to run and grow our Facilities Management business. You will own the division's performance, winning new contracts, deepening client relationships, and improving profitability, while leading the Facility Managers and their teams to deliver consistently high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth and Development

• Build and execute a growth strategy to win new FM projects and contracts
• Identify and pursue new opportunities through tenders, proposals, partnerships, and networking
• Lead pricing, bids, and contract negotiations to secure profitable long-term agreements
• Expand the scope and scale of services with existing and new clients

Client Relationships

• Act as the senior point of contact for key clients
• Hold regular reviews to ensure satisfaction, renewals, and upsell opportunities
• Resolve escalations quickly and protect the company's reputation for quality

P&L and Profitability

• Take full ownership of the division's revenue, margins, and cost control
• Set budgets and targets, and track performance against them
• Drive efficiency improvements across operations, procurement, and vendor management without compromising service quality

Operational Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable the Facility Managers and their teams
• Set KPIs, service standards, and reporting frameworks
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements
• Strengthen systems, processes, and technology (e.g. CMMS) to support scale

Reporting and Governance

• Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to the business owners

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
• Proven senior-level experience in facilities management, with a track record of business development and P&L ownership
• Demonstrated success in winning contracts and growing revenue
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing managers and multi-site or multi-contract teams
• Sound understanding of building services, maintenance operations, and industry regulations
• Strong negotiation, commercial, and financial acumen
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels

Pay: AED23,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
