Head Chef (Central Kitchen Operations)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily central kitchen operations, ensuring meal quality and timely order fulfilment.
• Propose menus for customer enquiries and tender submissions.
• Develop creative dining concepts for retail outlets.
• Attend to high-profile catering events and services.
• Evaluate new raw materials and suppliers.
• Prepare weekly material forecasts to support purchasing.
• Establish standard costing and ensure actual costs remain within budget.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Manage labour costs and improve operational productivity.
• Build, train, and develop a high-performing team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a reputable, large-scale F&B or hospitality establishment.
• Strong culinary expertise with excellent creativity and demonstrated culinary achievements.
• Familiarity with the local foodservice landscape.
• Strong leadership, operational, cost-management, and team-development skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
