Role Summary

We are seeking an innovative, highly driven Head Chef with a strong background in diet-specific and healthy culinary concepts to lead our kitchen operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who excels at team handling and operates with a true "ownership mentality." You will not just be running a kitchen; you will be treating the culinary operation as your own business, driving quality, profitability, and team excellence while delivering exceptional, health-conscious menus.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Leadership & Menu Development

• Design, develop, and execute innovative, flavor-forward menus with a strict focus on healthy, dietary, and macro-balanced food concepts (e.g., keto, vegan, gluten-free, calorie-controlled).
• Source high-quality, fresh ingredients while managing supplier relationships to ensure the best balance of quality and cost.
• Maintain absolute consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation across all services.
• Stay ahead of global health food trends and adapt the menu to meet the evolving demands of the Dubai market.

Team Handling & Management

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse brigade of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a culture of mutual respect and high performance.
• Manage all kitchen staff schedules, workflow allocation, and daily shift operations.
• Conduct regular training sessions on culinary techniques, dietary requirements, and kitchen safety.
• Handle performance management, recruitment assistance, and conflict resolution within the kitchen team.

Operations & Ownership Mentality

• Take full ownership of the kitchen’s financial performance, meticulously managing food costs, minimizing wastage, and optimizing inventory.
• Treat the kitchen operation as your own business, proactively identifying areas for operational improvement and revenue generation.
• Ensure absolute compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards).
• Maintain all kitchen equipment and ensure a safe, organized, and sanitary working environment at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record working as a Head Chef in Dubai (minimum [Insert Years] years in a similar senior capacity).
• Culinary Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in preparing dietary, health-focused, and macro-specific meals. (A background in wellness resorts, premium meal-plan companies, or health-focused dining is highly preferred).
• Leadership: Strong team handling skills with a history of building, retaining, and developing high-functioning kitchen teams.
• Business Acumen: Demonstrated ownership mentality with a solid understanding of kitchen P&L, food cost calculation, and inventory management.
• Certifications: Valid PIC (Person in Charge) certification and advanced knowledge of local UAE food safety regulations.
• Communication: Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff and management.
