Head chef

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a wide range of expertise in various cuisines, including:

• Continental

• Indian (North and South)

• Chinese

• Mediterranean

• Middle Eastern

• Desserts

The Head Chef will be responsible for the following:

• Creating innovative menus and designing aesthetically appealing plates

• Controlling food and wastage costs while ensuring high standards

• Setting and achieving monthly budgets and revenue targets

• Recruiting, training, and managing kitchen staff

• Implementing kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene standards

• Reporting to management with detailed and accurate reports on performance, costs, and staffing

• Collaborating with management to drive the restaurant’s culinary direction

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in professional kitchens, with knowledge of a wide variety of cuisines

• Expertise in food plating, menu creation, and cost control

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and reporting skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet financial targets
