About the role

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management of the kitchen, delivering high-quality meals while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and strong team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring, and developing the kitchen team
• Designing and updating seasonal menus
• Managing food costs, ordering, and stock control
• Ensuring food safety and compliance with all regulations
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and consistency
• Working closely with venue management to drive food sales and customer satisfaction

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or a Sous Chef ready to take the next step
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Solid understanding of food costing, GP targets, and stock management
• Passion for quality pub food and modern casual dining
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant food safety certifications
