Head Chef Wanted- Goji Penrith

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Goji Penrith, a busy modern Asian restaurant located on the Nepean River in Jamisontown.

We're searching for someone who is confident taking ownership of the kitchen, leading a team and maintaining consistently high standards during busy services.

The Role Includes:

• Leading and managing the kitchen team

• Overseeing daily kitchen operations

• Maintaining food quality, presentation and consistency

• Managing stock, ordering and food costs

• Training, supporting and motivating kitchen staff

• Managing prep and service efficiently

• Maintaining excellent food safety and cleanliness standards

• Working closely with management to improve and develop the kitchen

About You:

• Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or Senior Chef

• Strong leader ship and communication skills

• Experience working in a fast- paced, high volume kitchen

• Reliable, organised and able to perform well under pressure

• Strong understanding of food costs, stock control and kitchen operations

• Experience with Asian cuisine, preferred but not required

Pay: Up to $115,000.00 per year
