Head Chef

NAYA World Kitchen is recruiting a strong, experienced Head Chef to lead within our large world buffet kitchen.

This is a high-volume operation combining buffet production with live cooking in front of customers. We need a Head Chef who can control people, preparation, timing, cleanliness and food quality throughout the entire service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen team.
• Organise daily preparation and ensure every section is ready before service.
• Control service timings and buffet replenishment.
• Maintain consistently high food quality, presentation and portion standards.
• Set and enforce exceptional cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ensure chefs demonstrate professional preparation, knife and cutting skills.
• Manage chefs working across buffet and customer-facing live kitchen sections.
• Ensure recipes and operating procedures are followed consistently.
• Control food waste, stock, ordering and kitchen organisation.
• Monitor allergens, temperatures, labelling and food safety procedures.
• Train, develop and hold kitchen staff accountable for standards.
• Work closely with senior management to continuously improve the food operation.

What We're Looking For

You must have proven experience leading a busy professional kitchen and be comfortable managing high-volume food production and live service.

We are looking for a Head Chef who is organised, disciplined and hands-on. You must be able to lead a team, maintain standards under pressure and ensure the kitchen is clean, prepared and on time every day.

Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
