Head Chef

About the role

Vintners Wine Bar & Bistro is seeking a Head Chef to work closely with the Wine Making Team's Viticulturalist and Horticulturalist to ensure a paddock to plate concept in a Mediterranean style of menu. The role is based at Vintners Wine Bar & Bistro, located in Witchcliffe, 10 kilometres south of Margaret River.

Key responsibilities

• Work with excellent local produce and regional suppliers
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal dishes
• Work efficiently and consistently during service
• Support the wider kitchen team

About you

• Proven experience as a Head Chef
• Strong technical and organisational skills
• Ability to work efficiently and consistently during service
• Passion for local produce and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine
• Positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team

Vintners Wine Bar is the face of McHenry Hohnen Vintners wine brand, a highly regarded winery that practices biodynamic principals in their farming of wine grapes as well as produce from their farm of Sheep Master lamb, vegetable garden, honey and olive oil all grown on the vineyard properties. Vintners Wine Bar & Bistro was opened 16 months ago and has developed a strong reputation for its food offering, cellar door facility and the stunning building.
