  • Train and develop kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence
  • Manage supplier relationships and maintain standards for ingredient quality and delivery
  • Monitor food costs and implement strategies to optimise efficiency whilst maintaining quality and profitability

What we're looking for

  • Relevant culinary qualification or recognised chef certification (such as a Diploma in Professional Cookery or equivalent)
  • Minimum 8 years of professional kitchen experience, with at least 3-4 years in a Head Chef or senior leadership role
  • Proven experience managing a kitchen team and demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Extensive knowledge of contemporary and classical cooking techniques, with the ability to create innovative, high-quality menus
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards, health and hygiene regulations, and kitchen management systems
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Proficiency in cost control and inventory management to optimise kitchen profitability
  • Demonstrated passion for quality ingredients and commitment to showcasing local and seasonal produce
