Blue Shamrock Golf Club in Palmerton, PA will be reopening food and beverage operations in the first quarter of 2027. We are hiring for all restaurant, bar, catering, and event positions, but our first priority is finding a Head Chef to help us relaunch the operation.

This is an opportunity for someone experienced who wants to make a statement and be part of rebuilding the food and beverage program from the ground up. The role will include restaurant service, golf outings, private events, catering, menu development, kitchen organization, ordering, inventory, food cost control, and helping hire and train kitchen staff.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership of a kitchen.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead daily kitchen operations
• Help develop a practical restaurant/bar menu
• Support catering and private events
• Manage food prep, ordering, inventory, and kitchen organization
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
• Help hire, train, and manage kitchen staff
• Work with ownership/management on reopening plans

Requirements:

• Prior kitchen leadership or chef experience required
• Catering/event experience preferred
• Food safety/ServSafe certification preferred
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and events as needed

Interviews will begin in December. Food and beverage operations are expected to reopen in the first quarter of 2027.

Pay: $900.00 - $1,200.00 per week
