Head Chef

About the role

As the leader of the kitchen team you will be involved in a hands-on operation in a very busy and fast paced kitchen, within a team of up to 7 chef/kitchen staff. Working closely with executive Chef Clement Chauvin, you will maintain quality and consistency as a key factor in the day to day running of the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a busy kitchen team of up to 7 chef/kitchen staff
• Maintain quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation
• Create new dishes and old french classics
• Follow all food hygiene guidelines in accordance with H&S and FCP
• Ensure high level of consistency and creativity in kitchen operations

About you

• Extended experience in high end fast paced or hatted restaurant is a must
• Previous experience in high end fast paced or hatted restaurant background in a similar role with strong career progression
• Head Chef experience: 3 years (Required)
• True passion for food and an artistic approach to plating and presentation of dishes
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable managing a busy kitchen with a high level of consistency and creativity
