Head Chef

Koufuku Restaurant is currently looking for a prospective head chef who can lead our culinary operations! We need someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and is highly passionate about authentic Japanese flavors.

About the role

Oversee all kitchen staff's activities and manage 2 existing kitchens – Main Kitchen and Commissary. Plan and direct food preparations while ensuring compliance with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee food handling, food preparation methods, and sanitation control
• Ensure full operation of both Main Kitchen and Commissary kitchen without compromising secret recipes from Commissary to Main
• Be flexible to handle impromptu assumption of work in commissary or main kitchen

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Science or related certificate
• Years of work experience as an Executive Chef specifically in a Sushi / Japanese Restaurant
• Excellent record of kitchen management
• Communication and leadership skills
