Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

We're Hiring! Head Chef at The Duke Pub and Grill

Location: West Lethbridge, AB

The Duke Pub is looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our team!
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy pub, takes pride in the food they put out, and knows how to keep a kitchen running smoothly. We need someone who can lead a team, stay organized, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
What you'll be responsible for:

• Running day-to-day kitchen operations and leading the kitchen team
• Managing food ordering and working with suppliers
• Creating staff schedules and managing kitchen labour costs
• Helping develop new menu items, features, and specials
• Managing inventory, food costs, and waste
• Making sure food quality and consistency are maintained
• Training and supporting kitchen staff
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and up to health and safety standards

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
• Experience with food ordering, inventory, and cost control
• Someone who can stay calm and organized when things get busy
• A good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Someone who takes ownership of their kitchen and cares about the food going out

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 42.0 per week
